Crossroads Safehouse

Crossroads Safehouse creates a safe environment for victims of domestic violence and promotes social change for the community through education and intervention. Crossroads has been a long-standing partner of FPC.

How you can help

  • Direct Service Volunteers: These volunteers assist with programs involving direct client advocacy. This requires a 20-hour Core Training, with additional training for specific positions.

  • Non-Direct Service Volunteers: Non-direct service volunteers are needed for a variety of activities and programs, including Front Desk, Boutique, Food Bank, and providing information at community booths. Training for these positions is 3.5 hours.

  • Back to School Messages for youth in shelter (to go in lunch boxes)

  • Create affirmations for clients in the shelter

  • Thank Yous following events
