worship

Worship is the center, the heart of our church community. Each Sunday morning, we gather for worship to praise God together, to hear God's word proclaimed, and then to be sent out into the world again to be the hands and feet of Christ.

Our Sunday worship services are vibrant and joyful! Our services are liturgical, meaning that they follow a set pattern or order of worship. We believe that creating this structure helps us see worship as time set apart from our normal patterns of life, allows a space for us to experience the powerful Spirit moving in our midst, and a way to honor and praise God. In each service, there will be time for prayer, singing, scripture, listening to a thought-provoking sermon, and reflection.

Music

Music is an important part of who we are and what we do at First Presbyterian Church.

We feature sacred music of many kinds in worship each week: our beautiful pipe organ, our sanctuary choir, adult handbells, soloists, and other instrumentalists. Visit the Music Ministry page for more information.

children

Children are always welcome in worship!

We also offer nursery care for our youngest kids and Sunday school classes for school-aged children.

When you visit, if you have any questions or need help with anything, a greeter can help!
