Teaching and connecting with young people have been lifelong passions for Carlie. She earned degrees in English and Secondary Education and taught middle school and high school students for seven years. Carlie and her family discovered FPC after becoming involved with the FPC Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) program.

You can tell by her vibrant smile that Carlie lives in joy and gets her energy from youth group gatherings, games, songs, and connections. When not with her youth “kids,” Carlie is a full-time wife to Matt and mom to Parker and Isla. She loves being outside and teaching her children to care for creation. As enthusiastic campers and hikers, her family is on a mission to visit all the national parks before the kids graduate from high school.
