Erika Nossokoff
interim Director of Caring
Erika Nossokoff brings over 30 years of experience in Christian nonprofit leadership to her role as Interim Director of Caring. Her extensive background includes previous service at FPC as Director of Involvement, as well as impactful work with Habitat for Humanity, and Faith Alive Hospital in Jos, Nigeria. Erika is deeply passionate about equipping others to participate in God’s redeeming work, and she finds her greatest joy in witnessing the community show Christ’s love through mutual care and support. She’s also an accomplished author! (Faith Alive: Stories of Hope and Healing from an African Doctor and His Hospital.)
A member of FPC for 30+ years, Erika and her husband, Mark, first joined the church seeking a vibrant community in which to raise their children, Jenny and Austin. The pastor at that time also had young, squirmy kids, so they could relate!
Today, Erika stays busy caring for her parents, Paul and Elly, cuddling with her two dogs, and cherishing her role as a grandmother to four adorable grandchildren. When she isn't coordinating our wonderful volunteer care teams and the Deacons, you can find her thrifting, decorating, ebiking, or out on the water paddleboarding.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
