Gary Pfister joined the First Presbyterian Church team, bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in facilities maintenance. Having spent two decades navigating the complexities of commercial and correctional facility management, Gary initially sought out FPC for a change of pace. What began as a search for a flexible, part-time retirement role has turned into a great partnership; Gary enjoys the balance his current schedule provides, allowing him to keep our campus running smoothly while still making plenty of time for life outside of work.

When he isn’t on-site at the church, you can usually find him leaning into his favorite hobbies: hitting the open road on his motorcycle, tinkering with classic cars, or finding a quiet spot for a day of fishing.

While Gary enjoys his work here at FPC, his ultimate bucket list goal is a peaceful one: to eventually transition into full retirement and move back to the rugged landscapes of Wyoming.
