Building Project Update — July 2026

We’re almost there!

• The elevator is now complete but awaits programming, testing, and inspection over the next couple of weeks.

• The Community Life Center has passed final inspections for fire protection, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

• New, city-required doors will be installed in the north and south stairwells of the Community Life Center during August.

• Building access and elevator use will remain restricted until the stairwell doors are complete and we receive final sign-off on our building permit from the city. Please do not enter the Community Life Center or try to use the elevator until instructed.

• During August, we will gradually move furniture into its proper places, with the goal of having the nursery, meeting rooms, youth lounge, Kid’s Cave, and Gathering Place fully operational by early September.

• Both our nonprofit building partners, Matthews House and Church World Service, have moved in and are working in their office spaces on the third floor of the Community Life Center.

• We will dedicate the Community Life Center and hold an open house after church on September 13.
